Petit Croisse Baulet : Depuis Cordon par le Col de Jaillet

Decided on this outing as a safe bet due to the snowfall the night before. But in the end, the avalanche risk was only 2. The first part in the forest on the road is a bit boring but after that the scenery is very nice. We were the first ones to descend the col de l'Avennaz. One needs to be a bit careful with the rocks as the base is very thin here.

We were surprised that despite the fresh snow there was already a perfect track even at 10am in the morning. That certainly made it a lot easier.

Excellent conditions with 20-30cm of fresh snow.
