quite meditative to go 1200 m walking on the slopes

Great mountain and face overall... Since I realized it was skiable, it quickly became a goal !

Overall well frozen all along for the way up and snow everywhere, but it won't last long anymore... especially below the glacier on the traverse to the left Where yesterday (30.4.25) there were new snow, everything is consolidated now. from 3700 there are good steps from the team from yesterday https://www.camptocamp.org/outings/1764676/fr/tricot-monch-s-nordliches-eigerjoch-eig-gletcher-eiger-w-

For the way down, we waited until 13:00. We could have waited a bit more but the very last cone (bottom part) would have been extremly heavy and likely dangerous... Leaving at 13:0, directly from the summit (still possible by now), the upper part was still a bit frozen, but ok for turns, then perfect conditions in the middle and then, from the hanging glacier until 2700, hard again with avalanche runs - doable but not the best (this is due to different expositions in the lower part and shadow from monch...)
