L'Évêque + Pointe d'Oren E: Traverse from Refuge des Bouquetins to Arolla

Skinning was easy everywhere, also on the l'éveque up to the summit rocks. The climb up to the l'éveque consists of a short mixed section (25m, II) with a lot of snow, followed by a short snow ridge. There is the option to do a rappel for the mixed section. In general quite nice descend: nice old powder in steep parts, sometimes a crust but which broke easily, great corn after the vignettes. Snow down to ca. 2200m, short walk to the bus stop.

Felt quite cold in the morning, warm later. Bit windy in all upper sections. Sunny
