Hinterer Grauspitz: Encirclement of Naafkopf from Steg

Very long, but beautiful itinerary in almost-deserted mountains. The tracks are more or less given on the Swiss maps (map.geo.admin.ch). There are several steep sections that require very safe conditions, in particular Ijesfürggli and the east face of the Grauspitz. The ridge is easy enough.

Steg - Ijesfürggli 2348 m, +1050m Ijesfürggli - Hinter Grauspitz, +225m Hinter Grauspitz - Balma 1934 m, -650m Balma - Bartümeljoch 2314 m, +400m Bartümeljoch - Güfelalpe 1569 m, -750m Güfelalpe - Bettlerjoch 2108 m, +550m Bettlerjoch - Steg, -800m

Total: +/- 2225 m

When there is Southerly wind, this area gets very windy and wind slabs form quickly. You could also sleep in the Pfälzerhütte. The Naafkopf is a variant.
