Chaiserstuel: Bannalp round tour (aka Bannalp Rundtour)

From the upper station of the Bannalp cable car (12CHF, 15pax), traverse to Urnerstaffel from where one ascends to Bannalp Pass. Follow the easy ridge from the pass to the summit (route 530a). The last 20m are often climbed on foot. NB: with safe avalanche conditions, it is possible to ascend directly from the cable car on the S slopes of the Bietstöck.

Descent to Isenthal via the pass, Oberlap, Gossalp, Altrüti (route 530c).

Take the cable car up to Gitschenen (10CHF, 8pax). From Gitschenen, traverse a small plateau to the W until it is possible to cross Bachtobel. Ascend to Schonegg Pass (aka Sinsgäuer Schonegg) via Sulztal (route 525a).

Descend the Sinsgäu valley down to Fell (bottom station of Bannalp cable car; route 525b).

A classic of this area, taking advantage of 2 cablecars to ride as much as possible on days with good snow!
